

You can adjust the overall pitch and formants too, but I haven't found much need for that yet. You then add key frames for pitch ± 6 semitones. It's a bit clunky to work with- you select a region, it brings up another window but you can't play or scrub on that window, you have to hit preview and watch the curser go by to find your edit points. This is similar to Dialogue Contour.ĭialogue Contour seemed appealing since I've been fighting more and more fraken-bites from editors these days. Variable Time is a graphical way to adjust time without adjusting pitch and Variable Pitch works much the same way as Pitch Contour worked in RX6 except that you can adjust pitch and speed together or have the pitch change independently of the speed/tempo. I'm sure I'll find more uses for it in the future. It was actually quite useful for taming some drums that were too far forward in a mix and getting in the way of the dialogue. Music Rebalance I've toyed with a little bit.

So far I'd say that here are some worthwhile improvements, but not everything got better.
